My name is Ashton Macaulay, and I’ve been writing all my life. On May 1st, 2018, my first novel, Whiteout, the story of a drunken monster hunter chasing a yeti through the Himalayas was published by Aberrant Literature. It currently holds a 4.75/5 rating on GoodReads and is available in paperback, hardback and Kindle through Amazon. We’ve also just released an audio drama, A Man of the Mountain for free on all streaming platforms, coming to paperback in early 2020.
Throughout my life I have always been inspired by bringing an irreverent sense of humor to those topics that often frighten or sadden us. In an age filled with plenty of non-fiction to keep us grounded, I’m trying to create literature that transports readers away to the big adventure novels of old, and pokes fun at just about everything that goes bump in the night.
Aberrant Literature has also published two more of my short stories, Diary of a Dead Man in Aberrant Literature Volume 3 (2016) and Future solutions in Aberrant Tales (2018). Right now, Aberrant and I are working hard to bring new adventures of mine to life. A Man of the Mountain is an audio drama that will be releasing later this year for free on streaming services and in paperback (trailer here). Downpour, the sequel to Whiteout is in for edits as you read this and is scheduled for release in 2020.
