Author, Nick Dorsey says: “Ashton has crafted a funny, inventive, and often booze-soaked tale chock full of magic and monsters. Nick Venter is what you get if you take Indiana Jones and strip away his morals, skills, and accountability. Rarely has traveling to hell and back been this much fun.”
I am currently seeking representation for my next novel, Chadpocalypse! It’s the age-old story of drunken frat boy finds out about the apocalypse and has to stop it because he’s got concert tickets. Chad’s adventure is about demon-slaying, secret societies, and thankfully, a bit of personal growth. If interested, please contact me at AshtonDMacaulay@Gmail.com
My name is Ashton Macaulay, and I’ve been writing all my life. On May 1st, 2018, my first novel, Whiteout, the story of a drunken monster hunter chasing a yeti through the Himalayas was published by Aberrant Literature. It currently holds a 4.75/5 rating on GoodReads and is available in paperback, hardback and Kindle through Amazon. Signed copies and homegrown e-books are available for direct purchase through my website! The prequel to Whiteout, A Man of the Mountain is available in paperback/Kindle on Amazon, signed copies here.
Throughout my life I have always been inspired by bringing an irreverent sense of humor to those topics that often frighten or sadden us. In an age filled with plenty of non-fiction to keep us grounded, I’m trying to create literature that transports readers away to the big adventure novels of old, and pokes fun at just about everything that goes bump in the night.
Aberrant Literature has also published two more of my short stories, Diary of a Dead Man in Aberrant Literature Volume 3 (2016) and Future solutions in Aberrant Tales (2018). Right now, Aberrant and I are working hard to bring new adventures of mine to life.
